‘Jane By Design’ Scoop: Is Gray Actually Jane’s Mom?
‘Jane By Design’ stars Erica Dasher & Andie MacDowell chat with HollywoodLife.com about the fans’ wildest theory. Could it be true?
From the moment Jane (Erica Dasher) told Gray (Andie MacDowell) about her missing mother on the first episode of ABC Family’s Jane By Design, fans have been weaving some pretty crazy theories about her whereabouts — and my personal favorite is that she’s none other than Gray herself. So I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to run that theory by Erica and Andie during a recent interview, and much to my surprise, they’d both already given it some thought!
“A friend of mine wrote me and said it’s all on Facebook that [Jane is my] daughter!” Andie tells HollywoodLife.com. “I don’t think it’s possible, but I have no idea. They don’t tell me a thing. It’s kind of fun, because it’s like this mystery. You have no idea what’s going to happen to me!”
And what does Erica think about the possibility of Jane being Gray’s secret pride and joy? She’s as skeptical as Andie is, but definitely not opposed to the idea.
“I’ll take it!” she said immediately, gesturing to Andie. “Look at her!”
