Russell Brand’s ‘Miserable’ Dinner Alone Before Meeting With Katy Perry

Russell Brand flew to Los Angeles from London last weekend reportedly to discuss the divorce arrangements with his estranged wife, Katy Perry. While he was there, the 36-year-old comedian dined at BOA Steakhouse all alone and HollywoodLife.com has exclusive details from his evening.
“Russell was alone the entire time and no one bugged him at all,” an eyewitness tells us of the Jan. 14dinner. “He wasn’t his animated self and kept rather calm and quiet. He didn’t want to draw any attention to himself.”
Adds another source, “Russell looked miserable, but he tried to cover it up with a fake smile. He was on his phone for a lot of the dinner, texting someone.”
It’s been reported Katy and Russell were planning to meet at the Beverly Hills Hotel to go over the split. However, she supposedly wants to keep the marriage alive; he’s the one who is finished.
