Is Justin Bieber Starring In A Remake Of Mark Wahlberg’s ‘Fear’?
Can you imagine Justin taking on this extremely adult — not to mention Oscar-guaranteed — role? Let’s discuss.
Let me begin by saying I doubt this rumor is true — but oh, how I wish it was. A source tells MovieWeb that Justin Bieber is obsessed with the 1996 horror masterpiece Fear, originally starring Mark Wahlberg, and is interested in starring in a remake. For those of you unfamiliar with the film, Mark’s character pleasures his girlfriend (Reese Witherspoon) on a rollercoaster, carves her name into his chest, then beheads her beloved family dog. In that order. Oh, there’s also a graphic rape scene thrown somewhere in there.
So is it totally crazy to think that Justin would star in an updated version of Fear?
Of course it is. But hey, it’s not the most damaging Justin rumor I’ve ever heard — that honor goes to Mariah “He Wouldn’t Let Me Use A Condom” Yeater — so I’m just going to pretend it’s a possibility.
If you think about it, Justin and teen-Mark’s career histories are actually pretty similar: They both rap, they both act, and they both have a penchant for posing in their undies. In fact, the only thing separating Justin from a young Marky Mark is the absence of that ever-elusive third nipple.
At least, that we know of.

I found out about this monstrosity this very morning, January 24, 2012, over the radio. As soon as I heard that Justin Bieber is wanting the rights to the film Fear and wanting to cast in it as lead character David McCall I about laughed so hard it scared the people around me. My instant thoughts were: one Justin is not serious enough for the roll; two is not buff enough, and three he is a child and still has baby fat on his face.
Personally I believe he hasn’t fully accomplished the music world. He has only the hearts of preteens and peppy know nothing girls. See Mark had success in the modeling, then following in music (which we must admit that sex appeal played a part), and finally movies. See he went and conquered one then if anything had a fall back, but he never needed to resort to that. That fool can’t compare his self to Mark Wahlberg.
Justin cannot play the part point blank! He is a boy and that role is for a man; someone that is rough and cut that is a boyfriend/ want to do bad things with secret psycho. Justin is not Mark. Repeats and remakes do not always work out.

I’m sorry I hope he doesn’t play in this movie. It will honestly kill the original. Of all people justin bieber he’s still in a kid and no comparission to mark whalberg in that movie.

justin be in fear? i saw that movie it would make his fans think twice and it’s graphic rape scene i wouldn’t want to see that cuz thats just, just uncalled for.

If you cut out certain aspects of the movie. It will no longer be the movie it was ment to be. The original. And a Musical? Fear is not a song and dance movie. That will alter the essence of the movie.

Honestly i think Fear should be left alone and not make a remake. Fear isnt a remakeable movie and should be left rated R. And justin has a clean image i dont think playing marks charecter is a good idea. Justin even said he wouldnt try anything sexual.

And i would so go see this movie if he did the reamke but i want it to stay Rated-R the Biebs is going to be legal soon the big 18 so he could do it and i think he could handle the part.. maybe needs to beef up a bit Justin has a thin muscular body he just needs to get lil bigger but other then that i think he should do it he needs to gain an older more mature fans and i think its time for his underage fans to step up and be bad and try to watch his R-rated movie LOL Even crazier if they casted Selena to be nicloe ….

You know what would be even crazier??? Casting justine bieber to play any role that Mark Wahlberg has played. Tell him to stick to singing like a birch and equally looking like one
