The actress is just one of many celebs to crop her hair into a bob recently, but whether or not the short cut looks great is all about how it’s styled.

The rule of thumb for bobs seems to be: Keep it straight! Cameron Diaz wore her new bob in curls and, in a HollywoodLife.com poll, 60% of readers didn’t like the look. She then wore her bob stick straight, and while most people still didn’t like how short her hair was in general, almost double the amount of readers liked her straight hair versus the curly version in a second poll.
