Forget the cap and gown, the Jenner sisters are headed down the runway instead of to college. Is that smart or are the sisters throwing away their future?
Bruce Jenner admits that his daughters Kendall,16, and Kylie,14, might miss out on the college experience because their busy careers come first! We think this is the wrong path for the young girls!
“If they want to go to college, certainly, I think it’s a good idea. But I’m not the advocate of, ‘You’ve got to go to college!’” Bruce told Us Weekly. “I think by the time they graduate from high school, they will probably be in a position to go right to working.”
Bruce adds that Kendall’s modeling career is her priority right now. ”If that’s what she wants to do, that’s good. I don’t know if college is going to be that important for her,” he said.
We know lots of young celebs don’t go to college because they think they will become rich and famous, but fame can be fleeting! We think the girls should get a college degree so they have a back up plan! What do you think?

I think the most important thing is that these girls do what they love.. With or without a college degree. Having a degree is not all that important anyways. There are more important things in our lives, actually they are not even “things”. And its’s not good to put pressure on childen to study alot and put aside other interests. There are other areas kids can excell as well.. Just look at their dad. Do you think he’d become an Olympic medalist if all he did was study and got into College? But all this doesn’t even matter. These girls seem to be good persons and that’s all that matters, actually. They should just follow their hearts and do what they love, which I think is exactly what they think they should be doing :D

My MIL has always joked the she nedeed a granddaughter. She taught my son to say I want a sister. Luckily we have a good relationship so it was really cute and fun and not annoying. We her daughter just had a daughter and I am about ready to have a daughter so it looks like she got what she was waiting for.

College doesnt ensure a promising future, I regret my 2 post secondary degrees, these girls are in a position to make $now, college can wait, Their 2 sisters who didn’t go to college make more in a day than 95% of college grads

We must all learn how to be resourceful and survive. Putting all your eggs in one basket is never good. College helps provide these skills but they can be learned in other ways too. Everyone must make there own choices!

It’s really pathetic the girls are not encouraged academically. Alittle bit of education can go a long way. And my God they can afford it.
I’m sure kris jenner will have them hocking the brand in their fishbowl world and try to marry them off to an Athletic or entertainment star.

I think it’s perfectly ok for them to delay going to college. Their fame is fleeting and they may as well make money before Kim destroys all that is “Kardashian.” If they make money now (as if they’ll need it) there is ALWAYS time to go back to college, however their chances at fame and money are limited.

This is one time Bruce is dead on. Since these two are only interested in posing like their older step sister then college would not work for them. Of course if they had more than 2 or 3 brain cells working they would aim to do something more positive with their life other than posing.

Also, it’s important to remember that Bruce did not do well in school, as he is dyslexic, and relied on his sports career to get him through life. He’s approaching the topic of college from a very different perspective….

I went to college. I got my bachelors degree. I still work for Walmart. They can always go back to school if and when their other ventures fail. College isn’t going anywhere but the opportunities they have now wont be around forever. Plus sometimes a little life experience helps in the long run when it comes to college.

Even history majors who graduated college are having a hard time getting a job.

Getting a degree in History alone is a stupid idea, the fact that someone didn’t get a job from it is not surprising. That’s why they always if you’re going to college major in something actually useful in life. Likes Sciences and Business.

It is not a “stupid idea” to major in history or any other liberal art at all. If students position themselves properly while still in school by taking internships or working, and network they’ll have no more problem finding a job than someone majoring in business or the sciences. People in those fields have to do the same to maximize their chances of getting a job. An understanding of history, literature and philosophy is just as important to the future as any more “practical” area of study. Discouraging people from pursuing them based on a widely spread and ultimately untrue theory is irresponsible. It’s just this kind of attitude that is making those areas disappear from colleges and universities all across the United States. We will not be better off for it.

thay should, Kendall’s career in modelling can only last so far, and she hasn’t been that succesfull. Besides, the Kardashian clan are cheap television, and everyone seems to dislike them already. My gess is they won’t last that long. Kendall & Kylie should have a back-up plan.
(Sorry for the English, it is not my first language.)

Kris Jenner doesn’t want her girls to go to college because then she won’t be able to make money off them!

College is not for everyone, and if these girls have other opportunities available, they should take full advantage of them. Besides, in today’s economy a college degree doesn’t always equal a job.

What would be the point of either of these girls going to college? To say they did it? Both of them will do just fine with or without college.

College is a tool or a resource to help you establish your career. From a practical standpoint, it doesn’t make sense for someone who’s career is already established to attend college. I will never understand the notion of celebrities attending college. It’s utterly impractical. There’s no real reason for either of these girls to go there.
