Robert Pattinson To Attend ‘Bel Ami’ Premiere In Berlin — Will Kristen Stewart Go With Him?
We’re so excited to see Robert Pattinson on another red carpet…and it’s less than a month away!
With no Cosmopolis premiere in sight and Breaking Dawn — Part 2 almost a year a way, we were starting to wonder when we’d get to see Robert Pattinson‘s handsome self walking down a red carpet — and now we have an answer!
The people who made Bel Ami at Studio Canal UK released a statement today about the upcoming premiere.
“We are delighted to confirm that the official World Premiere for Bel Ami will take place on February 17th, 2012 as part of the 62nd Berlin Film Festival,” the statement reads.
“Robert Pattinson, Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci and our directors Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod will walk the Berlin red carpet and give us the opportunity to complete press and launch the film across Europe in the best possible fashion.”
The only thing that could make this red carpet better would be an appearance by Kristen Stewart to support her man. Wouldn’t that be incredible?

It is possible, she could very well attend and go with him to Berlin. Her mothers film is being presented at the Berlin festival so she may go and support her mother and Rob. Im hoping she does, it’ll be cool.

Kristen,will be there but under the radar as usual,unless it is the time that we will see what we did on the BD red carpet.I doubt it because it this Rob’s movie and it is his time to shine, but then again I can be wrong ,who would’nt what such a beauty as Kristen on his arm.Lets just wait and see.I just can’t wait for the damn movie to come out..As always my prayers and peace to all the Pattinson’s and Stewart’s families.Kristen and Rob please stay true to each other it’s a mean world out there.Give all your animals a great big hug and kiss.It’s great what you do for our 4 legged friends.Love you two ,and yes I do have a good life so don’t worry about a stalker, plus I live on the east coast…Love and peace..xoxo

Kristen WILL NOT be attending Rob’s premier. She will be AVOIDING anything and everything that will cause her to land in the tabloids or any discussion boards. Kristen will stick to official press functions for movies that involve her. If you thought Kristen was guarded before, she will be even more guarded from hereon. Kristen is a smart girl and she knows that NO ONE (least of all Rob) can protect her from the intrusive tabloid press. She can only rely on herself. And she has been a genius at keeping the tabloid press at bay since she came back from London. She knows she has huge responsibilities resting on her shoulders that no one can take care of but herself. She will be headlining “Snow White and the Huntsman” on June 1, her first major studio film outside of “Twilight”, followed by her indie movie “On The Road” by the end of the year. The last thing Kristen wants is the scrutiny about her private life and the mudslinging in unmonitored boards about her relationship with Rob.

Don’t be surprised if the nonstens will write a long petition letter to Studio Canal to ban Kristen Stewart from the “Bel Ami” premier just like they petitioned to Fox for Kristen to be banned from attending the “Water for Elephants” premier. LOL!

Oh you blind nonnie. Everyone knows she was with MichaelAngarano at that time. He was her roomie when he was in town which was frequently. Kristen and Nikki had their own rooms for obvious reasons. Nikki isn’t friendly with either of them any longer. She attributed it to them becoming so famous and getting huge egos. In reality it had everything to do with Kristen giving the go ahead to Rob so he no longer wanted to hangout with Nikki. He’s loved Kristen a long time.
Her mother’s film is premiering in Berlin as well as Rob’s. K has two people she loves and will be there for both, I would think.

Come on, give Rob, and his fans, a little more credit than that. I’m not “in love” with Edward, I’ve had quite enough of him and the whole Twilight thing, thanks. But Rob? He’s an amazing actor. He’s so talented, and can take on any role. I can’t wait for Bel Ami & Cosmopolis. You wouldn’t say something like that about another actor, Johnny Depp for example. Do you think Depp fans are all in love with Jack Sparrow? You make us fans sound like a bunch of morons, something I take objection to.

I wouldn’t doubt she would want to attend. She has no problem when it involves him and attention on him wanting to be part of it, but when it’s her forget it. She’s a despisable, disingenuous person and he’ll be better off when it finally blows up. She couldn’t be further away in termperament and character from him.

Thank god that Kristen’s “away from temperament and character from him” as you say. Rob’s a giggling immature 25 year old. Kristen is a serious, decisive, emotionally mature, and strong-willed 21 year old. No wonder he’s so drawn to her. She complements what he obviously lacks.

Hollywoodlife. Should have known you would not have written this title without the “Will kristen attend part” Instead of announcing his premier and the date, you had to add that. You can never write any news about kristen without throwing rob in there and you cant write news about rob without throwing kristen in there, instead you should be happy for and focusing on the one person who its about, but you always throw the others name in. It’s like you can never have a real story or a good story without doing it.

She may, she may not. If she does, I doubt she will walk the red carpet. She tends to keep a low profile (or tries to)with any of his premieres to keep the focus on him and his co-stars. If she tries to go without attracting a lot of attention it will be futile because sites like this will make it a big deal.

Also, Kristen has never attended any premiers of Rob’s movies held outside of the US. She only attended the NYC premiers of “Remember Me” and “Water for Elephants” but skipped the London premiers of those movies. It’s likely that she will skip the Berlin premier of “Bel Ami” given that the movie will open in the US in March and will probably have its own premier in the US which she might attend as she did in the past US premiers of his previous movies.

Kristen has attended the first world premiere’s of Robs movies, had the first premiere of say WFE been in England then my guess is she would have attended. Bel Ami is only having one world premiere and that is in Berlin, she may attend it is very possible!

I agree. It’s a total stretch. Kristen is keeping herself tabloid-free as she has two important films outside of Twilight hitting the cinemas this year. “Snow White and the Huntsman” will hit theaters on June 1 and “On the Road” is expected to hit theaters in December. The last thing Kristen wants is to be dragged into endless speculation and innuendo about her relationship with Rob.

Well said Kat. Kristen has been to all of Rob’s premieres since they started dating as far as I know. She just doesn’t walk the red carpet with him. She supports him inside for the movie viewing where he needs her support and encouragement the most. On the red carpet it’s all about Rob’s movie not the Robsten show. As far as I can tell he does the same for her. Whether it’s Rob’s time to shine or Kristen’s time to shine they are always there for eachother waiting in the wings. This is just my observation.
