‘Glee’ takes on the music of Michael Jackson, as tensions rise between the Warblers and the New Directions.
Ignoring the snazzy opening number, this week’s Glee picks up with Finn (Cory Monteith) asking Rachel (Lea Michele) for an answer to his marriage proposal. Rachel doesn’t want to be rushed into a decision, and she’s right in wondering what motivated Finn to suddenly propose.
The drama kicks in when Blaine (Darren Criss) accidentally lets slip to Sebastian (Grant Gustin) that the New Directions are performing Michael Jackson at Regionals — and the Warblers steal their showlist!
Cut to the choir room, where Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) gives the New Directions this week’s assignment: “What Would Michael Jackson Do?” Inspired by the King of Pop, the New Directions decide to fight back.
After an intense Jackson-off between the Warblers and the New Directions in a parking lot, Blaine’s eye is injured by a doctored slushie, requiring surgery, and the New Directions are pushed to their limits.
Santana (Naya Rivera) gets Sebastian to admit on tape that he added rock salt to the slushie. However, by this time, the New Directions have decided to take the high road. Channeling Michael Jackson, they prove that talent and love are all they need to win at Regionals.
Elsewhere, Sam (Chord Overstreet) continues in his quest to woo back Mercedes (Amber Riley) by performing a duet, following which they share a sweet kiss. Could there be a reunion in their future?
Also, Quinn (Dianna Agron) receives good news when she’s accepted to Yale. Finally, the girl catches a break, and she celebrates with a stunning solo performance!
Meanwhile, when Kurt (Chris Colfer) is accepted as a finalist to NYADA, Rachel has a meltdown, and she decides to accept Finn’s proposal.
Does this rash decision remind you of anything, Gleeks? First, Finn proposes to Rachel when he learns the shocking truth about his father. Now, Rachel is accepting a marriage proposal when she begins to have doubts about her future.
In the final moments of the episode, Rachel tells Kurt that she too was accepted as a finalist to NYADA, and we can already see a trace of doubt in her eyes about her future with Finn. Will their young love be able to survive beyond the walls of McKinley High?

Do yourself a favor and look up Duwende on YouTube. Their covers rock way harder than Glee!

I love the fact that they have brought up young marriage in glee. I myself married at 20 which was I was told by many was inappropriate. This will give teenagers who think that marriage isn’t a big deal something to think about. I look forward to the show following Finns and Rachels path towards marriage because they will definitely encounter obstacles and tough choices.
With the amount of 15 and 16 year olds wanting to marry as soon as they get a boyfriend this may be able to be a valuable learning opportunity if the writers play their cards right.

seriously airing a high school couple deciding to marry each other is not at all good for the teenagers watching this. there should be a lesson here not show teenagers that its okay to get pregnant and marry at 18. the world is so big, they are just starting.

I don’t feel like they are really condoning the marriage at 18… they haven’t even discussed that they would be marrying soon or if they were going to hold off for even longer…
They are not justifying getting pregnant or marrying so young, they’ve shown teenagers that these things can happen. They showed that Quinn had a very rough time to get back to where she should be after the pregnancy.
I think if anything they teach to accept the decisions of others. If Rachel and Finn marry then it’ll show the struggles and difficulties they face. The deal isn’t sealed yet, a lot can still happen between now and their marriage.

OF COURSE THERE LOVE WILL LAST! SHE’LL BE WORRIED BECAUSE SHE’S ACCEPTED FINN’S PROPOSEL AND IS HAPPY SHE HAS BUT NOW SHE ALSO HAS THE OTHER THING SHE WANTED SO SHE WILL PROBABLY BE WORRYING IF WHAT QUINN (COMPLETE BITCH HATE THE BLONDE BIMBO) WAS SAYING WILL BE/IS TRUE! BUT AFTER SHE REALIZES QUINN HAS NO IDEA OF REAL LOVE AND RACHEL CAN ACTUALLY HAVE BOTH THE BOY AND THE DREAM! AND RACHEL WILL HAVE BOTH!!!!
TBH, I WOULD RATHER FINCHEL STAY IN LIMA BECAUSE IF THEY DO THEY’LL HAVE A SHEW IN FOR BEING CAST MEMBERS IN SEASON 4!!
A GLEE WITHOUT CORY AND LEA aka FINCHEL IS NO GLEE AT ALL!!!!
