Emily Maynard‘s heart broke when her relationship with her fiance Bachelor Brad Womack came to an end. But now, Emily is getting her own chance to find love as ABC’s next Bachelorette. In a new interview, Emily confesses that’s she’s fearful of starting the journey over again. Will she find love this time around?
“It really hasn’t hit me, what I’ve signed on to do,” Emily tells People.com. “I’m scared to death.”
But while it didn’t work out with Brad, Emily hasn’t given up hope that The Bachelorette will help her find love again. “We didn’t end up getting married, but in the end just falling in love, for me, is a success,” she says.
Emily is hoping that this process will make it easier for her to meet men because, as a single mom, finding time to date is hard. ”My schedule is very different than a normal single guy’s schedule — I can’t go out every night of the week,” she explains. “They just kind of fizz out before they never have a chance to become anything. I have to take things slowly because I have a daughter, so that makes it really hard.”
Production will move to Charlotte for the initial stages of filming so that Emily doesn’t have to uproot her 6-year-old daughter Ricki‘s life. But Ricki will be joining mommy during the weeks of international travel for the show.
“She’s not going to be involved in a lot of filming and certainly not meeting the guys,” Emily admits. “But she’s really excited to go on vacation with mommy.”

Ok, if Emily will be there it will be first time I will not watch BACHELORETTE…she is selfish,boring, she even don;t know how to talk…the only thing she knows is you know, you know you know… after a couple words all time you know you know you know…

Emily is 100% looks, 0% personality. Seriously she’s one of the most boring, least impressive contestants I’ve seen on the show. Also, she’s yesterday’s news! Zzzzzzzzzzz. My vote is for Kacie B!!!

She’s scared??? Why the FRACK did she agree to become the Bachelorette instead letting somebody have a chance? Emily you should have stuck to your word that you weren’t interested and hate the media exposure. David Good was right about you. You’re just in it for the fame.

I think her and Bentley should get together. She can whine about all the things she knew about before going on the show and he can run! haha She is scared, don’t go on the show, really??? Do we have to watch you again act like a little baby?

Hopefully Bently will be on!! LMAO! This show is a total joke, why she would bring her daughter along for the ride is just plain sick on so many levels.
