WOW, I wrote a comment that was not so positive on Rob’s but you guys took it out. It wasn’t actually that bad and I did say that I like him. I guess only positive stuff about Rob allowed on this blog.

woohooo!! can i say i feel personally honored?:) Robert was so unbelievably convincing in that birth scene, his acting in it is totally Oscar-worthy. he pulls off every possible emotion on screen. i don’t know why does it take them so long to get it?
Congratulations to Robert and his family!

Yay! Congrats Rob!
He is such a great actor and deserves to have a long lasting, rewarding career. Who else could have made Edward Cullen so appealing? The character in the book was so one-dimensional and wooden, but Rob made him seem real. But even more so, I loved his work in Remember Me and Water For Elephants. Especially Remember Me, because that character had so much depth and you could almost live through the changes that the character, Tyler, goes through. The subtlety of Rob performance was so weaved into the character, that you forget it’s Rob you’re watching, you forget that the character isn’t real. I think that’s the mark of an truly gifted actor. Definitely one of the best, if not the best actor around, yes. I would have to add Johnny Depp in there as well, but he’s older. I can’t wait for Cosmopolis when he teams up with David Cronenberg. It’s a win-win team and Rob will soar.

Hey, you!
I loved them all too, but Remember Me I think is my favourite. I loved it when David Cronenberg, so respected, such a great director, decided to back Rob. It’s like, see! Told ya so.
You take care too, Karen, have a great day & weekend.

Rob finally hit his mark in the role of Edward; he brought this character to life in breaking dawn! I’d also like to say congratulations to him, as well as Bill Condon, whose thoughtful direction steered Rob in the right direction in this film.
I think Pattinson has proven himself to be an actor to watch carefully. He was fantastic as Jacob in Water For Elephants (which should have received a lot more attention with the Academy, imo.) I look forward to watching his career continue to grow and shine over the next few decades.
