Court and jail officials tell HollywoodLife.com that Amber is back behind bars again.
Teen Mom star Amber Portwood is back in jail after pleading guilty to her probation violation charges in a Madison County, Ind. court on Feb. 6.
Amber “plead guilty to possession of a controlled substance and her violation issues,” a court official tells HollywoodLife.com.
Amber has been “referred to Madison County drug court” as a result, explains the official. That’s the only term the judge mandated after Amber confessed.
According to the official, this is all part of the plea deal that Amber worked out with district attorney’s office.
TMZ reports the the plea deal keeps Amber from serving five years in prison is she goes to a court-order rehab program. But if Amber does not complete her program, she will be thrown in the slammer and her case will be permanently set on her record.
Amber is now back behind bars at the Madison County correctional facility, confirm both a jail official and the court official.
Amber violated most of the terms of her probation and was placed in jail back in December.
