Gisele Bundchen was upset after the Patriots lost the Super Bowl to the Giants last night and vented to a friend about Tom Brady’s teammates. Was she totally out of line?
I totally get why Gisele Bundchen was angry last night after Super Bowl XLVI. Her husband, the quarterback of the Patriots Tom Brady, had a solid game, but his teammates choked and lost to the Giants, 21-17. However, she should have kept her mouth shut about her true feelings until she was away from the cameras.
After getting heckled by some Giants fans, Gisele, 31, turned to her girlfriend and said, “My husband cannot f***ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.”
As one of the most famous super models in the world, Gisele, draws attention wherever she goes — especially when she’s the wife of the guy who just lost the biggest game of the year. She’s not an idiot, so I’m surprised she didn’t have the common sense to just grin and bear the loss until she got back into the privacy of her hotel room.
Not only that, but Gisele shouldn’t have even bashed her husband’s teammates and friends to anyone in the first place. Even though she’s not technically a member of the Patriots, she’s linked to them very closely by association and as such, should have presented a united front…even after they lost the Super Bowl.
“Teammates don’t throw each other under the bus,” Emmy-Award winning sportscaster and New York Times Best Selling Author Len Berman explained to me. “There aren’t teammates in her line of work. Maybe she’s not used to hardship. She was frustrated and not used to losing.”
He added, “She’s part of the extended team family. She doesn’t owe the public an apology, but she might want to apologize to his teammates.”
That said, I can’t blame Gisele too much. Had I been in her shoes, I would have been bummed too. Common sense would have been out the door and I’d be ready for heads to roll. I guess we should really be impressed she didn’t pull an M.I.A. and flip off the Giants fans who were giving her attitude.
Do YOU think Gisele was out of line?

I probably would have said the same……it is true that if they had held on to the the balls that went thru the fingers 4 of them….they would have won the game…….hecklers can be jerks……dont blame her at all……

Is it false what she said?
Why doesn´t the columnist analyze it?
I invite any of you to do it.
Why can Brady be blamed and not the receivers dropping the ball so awfull? They are pro athletes, paid millions, how came they drop the ball that way?

She was listening to fans heckle her about her husband, and made a comment in exasperation to to her entourage while not even facing the camera. I doubt she even considered that the mics were going to pick up her comments while in the moment. It didn’t seem like she was hating on the Pats, but a reaction to the heckler’s idea that it was Brady’s “fault” they lost. I’m a very happy Giants fan, but I have respect for Tom Brady and can understand a slip from Gisele about something as important to them as the Super Bowl.
