Is Catherine Hardwicke dissing Robert Pattinson in a recent interview? Yikes!
Since she’s the one who cast and directed them in the first Twilight film, Catherine Hardwicke is essentially responsible for Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson‘s love affair. However, the outspoken director recently admitted she had guilt about breaking up Kristen, 21, and her longtime boyfriend, Michael Angarano.
“He’s a wonderful actor. He was in Dogtown, one of my favorites, so I felt pretty bad because I love him and they were such a great couple,” Catherine told Vulture at Sundance this year.
Although we doubt she would change the outcome of her Twilight casting, we can’t help but wonder if Catherine was throwing a dig to Rob. Do they actually not get along?
What do you think? Did Catherine mean to insult R-Patz, or was she just thinking out loud?

So, do I. I think Kristen and Michael didn’t fit together. Like something was off. Maybe when they were younger. But, they are so different now that they are older and more mature and know what they want in life. They look like Brother and Sister…not BF and GF..
Robert and Kristen compliment each other so much., not just in their gorgeous looks., but personality, hearts, soul, mind and everything else. Robert and Kristen are PERFECT together., they were made to meet and made for each other. COMPLETELY!!!!

no offence to rob and kristen i love them as a couple, but in this photo kristen is smiling and she seems so relaxed and she’s holding michael’s hand..maybe all this fame made her want a lot more privacy but i think she needs to relax a bit..i’m not saying that robsten should become a couple that can’t stop talking about each other or kissing in public (hint hint bieber and gomez) or that they should “come clean” about their relationship, but that they should be a bit more relaxed..and michael angarano is cute! i liked them as a couple kristen always looked extremely happy and didn’t care about the paps and now she reaaaaaaaally does..!anyway robsten is 10 times better than kristen and michael!!

Every line that someone says regarding Rob & Kristen is taken out of context and dissected and twisted for more controversy—it’s ridiculous. Kristen was so young when she was with Michael and if it wasn’t meant to be than it wasn’t meant to be. Katherine didn’t break them up, life did. Maybe she felt bad because Michael was hurt, but again, that’s life. He’s moved on, so has everyone else it seems except for HL.

Kristen was all of 17 when she was with MA. It was bound to fizzle at some point, you don’t stay with someone you date at 17 forever. Rob was just doing everyone a favor by ripping off that bandaid sooner and quicker than if he hadn’t been around. LOL

CH is just saying she feels bad MA ended up being the third wheel. He’s dated a lot since then though, he’s making out all right, and he just got hired to star in a pilot comedy for CBS. So all’s well that ends well.

Here is a truth. I am a Robsten fan, but I can admit that Kristen did look relaxed and happy in the pic with Michael. But, it’s only because of the obsessed fans that think Rob and Kristens relationship is their business which us sane normal Rob and Kristen fans DON’T. Kristen has NEVER spoken badly of Michael, and true Robsten fans have never given Michael any sh it because she dated him before Rob.

Catherine meant no harm in her statements. She’s just saying she feels bad for MA that his relationship broke up sooner due to twilight because he was a nice guy and a good guy for Kristen. That doesn’t mean Rob isn’t a nice guy or a good guy too, it just means someone was left out in the cold once Kristen and Rob met, and that someone was a nice person that was friends with Cathrine. Of course she’d feel a little bit bad. Obviously everyone moved on just fine though.

How many years ago was that 2007 or earlier,they were still teenagers.Then Kristen meant Rob she was 17 and he was 23 so they were still young.Kristen iis mature for her age even though she does do some crazy things we all did at 17,I think something just really clicked in Rob’s and Kristen’s life that they just could not ignore so maybe they fought it for a while and then after all the movies and hype they finally said ah what the hell,after all they are getting older,she is going to be 22 in April and him 26 in May.So Catherine ease up and don’t feel guilty,maybe when they do get married down the road ,she might ask you to be in her wedding…lol Rob and Kristen are happy,smart young people who are going to make it in this crazy world.I for one am glad you casted Rob he is a good actor and we all know Kristen is a good actor as well.So leave perfection alone.As always peace,prayers and love to all the family members and their 4 legged family too.The reason she held hands with Michael is because she was young. Every thing having to do with Rob and Kris is such a big deal. Since they’re so many prying eyes with their relationship, they can’t be open as she was with Michael. Think about it there was no one making couple names, fan videos, or being crazy over them.

Kristen who always refuse Rob’s attention in public or in front of camera. theres many tons of vids and pictures, how kristen refuse Rob’s hand (PCA award, Kristen more prefer to hold on talyor than to Rob) and avoiding his kiss (WFE’s premiere).

She was not getting death threats when she dated Michael. Rob has a few nutty fans who have threatened her repeatedly. Also, people did not obsess over her and Michael the way they do with her and Rob. I think a lot of that has to do with some not being able to tell the difference between R/K and E/B. Her life is much more scrutinized now than it was a few years ago. Just some ideas on possible reasons she is not so open now.

What a crock! Catherine H knew that they were all gay and she staged the “loving” photos between Krsiten and her longtime boyfriend! LOL Same thing with Rob’s hot attratction to Kristen at audition LOL He had to nedicate himself to be able to kiss a girl for pete’s sake people! I hate the reality of it as much as the rest of you, but I resent even more how the powers that be and studios have made millions lying and staging fake romances to keep fans rolling out the money. I think if they had not staged all the fake PDA the actors could be leading normal lives as they should. Think about it- none of the 3 have ever had a significant other of the oposite sex since 2008!!!! Reality check please!
