Josh killed his two sons in a horrific, fire explosion, but she says he was the victim! It’s SO wrong to claim that he was ‘protecting’ his family by murdering two innocent little boys!
Faced with losing custody of his young sons Charles, 7 and Braden, 5, a desperate Josh Powell, the lead suspect in the 2009 disappearance of his wife Susan, did an unspeakable act: Murdering his sons by cutting them with a hatchet and setting the house on fire. His sister Alina Powell told ABC News the tragedy was an act of protection: “I think he must has just felt that there was only one way left for him to protect his sons, from the pain, from all the emotional and physical pain they’ve been experiencing.”
But all of that pain they’ve been experiencing, Alina, was because of their father! He was so selfish to end those boys’ lives so early.
“I think this was the act of somebody who had been so damaged by the lack of due process, so harassed and abused and lied about that he just reached a point of feeling like there was no… I don’t know,” she defended.
When the reporter reminded her that he didn’t protect them, he killed them, Alina admitted: “I wish it had been differently.”
No matter HOW desperate Josh was feeling, there is NO excuse for killing his boys! He took them from their grandparents and family, and he deprived them of living a full life! Alina, there’s no defense for your brother. His murder-suicide was heartless and the most selfish thing anyone could do.
The boys’ grandparents called Josh “cowardly” — and I couldn’t agree more!
