The Grammy award show is the biggest night in music, but winner Jay-Z was a no show!
New dad Jay-Z and Kanye West won the Grammy award for Best Rap Performance for their song “Otis” on Feb. 12, but both weren’t there to accept the award! Was Jay-Z at home babysitting little Blue Ivy with Beyonce?
Beyonce also skipped out on the big night, and she recently missed her hubby’s concert at Carnegie Hall on Feb. 6 to be with Blue Ivy! They’re such caring parents, they can’t miss a second with their baby girl!

whats the big deal they are suppose to miss that stuff that show dont recognize all talented blacks beyonce looks near white sing white are not all that big people still mourning the loss of queen whitney the voicebut glad the baby is healthy they gonna miss moments anyway with 6 nannys unless she is on tour or going to work they will miss some of the easy and hard work of raising a child 24 7

They didn’t go to the grammy’s supposedly to be with their daughter yet they were seen out at a pizzeria without their daughter. Makes no sense!

a trip to a pizzeria is far less preparation and time than a trip to the opposite coast.

@Kate it’s part of the Business they chose to be in she’s a month old and that’s what a nanny is for you can’t always skip award shows.stars take their month old children on cross country flights all the time it’s nothing new it’s no like the Grammy is musics equivalant to the Academy Award so stop making such a big deal out of it besides it’s the mother thats not supposed to work for the first 6 weeks after birth the father can do what ever he wants

He can miss it if he wants to! She’s only a month old and he wants to spend time with his daughter! That’s a fantastic thing, it’s his daughter he doesn’t want to get a Nanny yet. And yes, the Grammys are a big deal but so what? He’ll probably post something on Twitter to say thanks (If he hasn’t already) and that’s that. Missing one show won’t kill his career.
Besides, he’s a new parent… he’s probably slightly sleep deprived!

It’s not babysitting when it is your own child. When it is your own child, it is called being a parent and being responsible.
That baby is like 2-3 weeks old, why would either of them want to fly from New York to La just to go to an awards show?

Okay, I HATE when people say this “stuck with their kids, or baby sitting your kid” its not “baby sitting” its being a parent and taking care of the kid. That is one of my BIGGEST pet peeves. Anyways, good for them staying home with their new baby, bravo!
