The 2012 Grammy Awards ceremony included a touching tribute to the late, great Whitney Houston.
Jennifer Hudson had less than 24 hours to prepare for her performance at the 2012 Grammy Awards, and she pulled it off flawlessly in a room full of the music industry’s most influential players – and the millions of music lovers watching at home.
After the memorial portion of the show ended with a freeze frame of Whitney, Jennifer appeared on stage under a single spotlight. Complete silence fell over the audience, as she sang “I Will Always Love You.”

Your negative comments aren’t only rude and ugly they are wrong! Until you have been personally invited to sing at the grammys I would keep your nasty comments to yourself cuz all your doing is looking like a jealous rude ugly spitfull human!

It sucked sooo bad. I mean, no one expects her to sing like Whitney but it was the most goddawful thing I ever heard. It was downright pathetic. The girl cannot sing!!!
At least she could not suck more then that hag Diana Ross who couldn’t be bothered to even mention Whitney!! Low class scrub she is.

Shame on all of you for your ugly comments. If you felt you could have done better, you should have called them.

Jennifer Hudson gave a stellar performance. Despite the lack of preparation time, the doubters and the haters, JHud delivered this beautiful and soulful performance. Jennifer is the real deal, a colossal talent.

Sorry, but I think Whitney was rolling in her body bag after this butch job by Jennifer. I am a Jennifer fan, but this sucked. I’ll give her kudos though, that took a lot of courage, and I’m sure she was nervous and emotional. So nice try. Someone let down the zipper and give Whitney some air.

it was very touching and moving performance. Well we all know no one will ever sing as strong powerfull with such a vocal range which Whitney had but Jennifer Hudson did excellent job i wish Mariah Carey would perform too , she has unforgetable duet with Whitney “when you believe” this song should be performed tonight by Miarah to Whitney
