Rihanna’s daring dress didn’t leave much to the imagination!
The collective sound of jaws dropping could be heard as Rihanna stepped onto the red carpet at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 12. The Barbadian singer, who was nominated for multiple awards and performed during the show, flaunted her fabulous figure in a black custom-made backless Armani gown with a dangerously low plunging neckline!
Speaking with E!, Rihanna explained the inspiration behind her barely-there, cleavage-bearing dress. “I wanted to do something very Michelle Pfeiffer from Scarface,” she said. “Simple, but sexy, and a little gangster at the same time.” (Coincidentally, Bridesmaids star Rose Byrne said the same thing when she showed up in her white jumpsuit at this year’s SAG Awards.)
According to RiRi, who frequently draws attention for her bold fashion statements, she worked closely with famed Italian designer Armani on her minimalist look. “This is a collaboration between Mr. Armani and myself,” she told E!.
