Whitney Houston‘s death has shocked up the music world, and superstar Miley Cyrus is no exception.
The death of 48-year-old Whitney hit Miley, 19, very hard. HollywoodLife.com spoke EXCLUSIVELY to her father Billy Ray Cyrus at the 2012 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Feb. 12, and he said that the news is definitely resonating in the Cyrus household.
“She feels sad about the loss,” he said. “She was also very close to Etta James. She was a big influence to Miley. There were a lot of great memories.”
We wish Whitney’s family the best during this difficult time.

You’re an idiot. First, Miley didn’t say anything. Billy Ray did. 2nd, a lot of celebrities say they are devastated, go call them out. Just another Miley hater, get a life. You don’t know if Miley was a big fan. After all she grew up with her father knowing so many different singers. Sir Paul McCartney taught her to play guitar with her left hand.

Lol…While Billy Ray Cyrus was telling us how devasted Miley Cyrus was, she’s photographed shopping checking out of COSCO with at least 5 cases of Corona beers will the sheepherder and her gay friend. Poor girl can’t catch a break. While her Dad is trying to cover for her in a respectful manner, she’s demonstrating that she is still 19 and infantile. I was exactly the same way. We all are at that age. But I enjoyed all of your wisdom, it made me chuckle!
