The troubled singer paid tribute to his ex-wife during his show — find out what he said.
Whitney Houston‘s Feb. 18 funeral was beautiful, and although Bobby Brown caused a ruckus by leaving the ceremony before it began, he found time to play a concert with his group New Edition later that evening.
Whitney, who was 48, was remembered by her family in a ceremony at the New Hope Baptist Church in Westfield, New Jersey. Unfortunately, Bobby, 43, stormed out of the funeral when he was not allowed in with his big entourage.
But he took to the stage several hours later at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with his band New Edition. It seemed to be an emotional concert for him, especially as the Daily Mail reports that he announced, “I want to give blessings to my ex-wife, Whitney Houston, I love you. I want to give blessings to my kids, my fiancée, my brothers, and each of you.”
Should Bobby have cancelled his concert, HollywoodLifers?

Jesus would you stop giving the wrong information? It is now well known that that was not his entourage but his family! And he simply left to avoid any drama. I think it’s the best the way he did it by mentioning her in the concert. He should have done it this way and never even go to the funeral because Whitney’s family was very disrespectful to him.

It wasn’t Bobby’s concert it was a New Edition concert. It would of still went on whether he showed up or not.
Also Bobby didn’t cause a ruckus as you say. He left to avoid a confrontation. His so called entourage was his three older children (to whom Whitney was there step mother and Bobbi Kris, they’re sister) and his brother/manager. All who were members of Whitney’s extended family and should have been given the right to grieve and say goodbye more so that some of the so-call entertainers in attendance.

U know this is not your run of the mill people it was in poor taste to bring hi outside family to the funeral they said he could sit with the family but not the other people it should have been about his daughter not a publicity stunt he wants an inteveiw.

oh, please. If he had cancelled his concert, he would not have been able to deduct the cost of the trip to see his wife’s funeral as a business expense. I know how this works.
