After countless cha chas, waltzes, jives and jitterbugs, Kelly Osbourne, Mya and Donny Osmond have outlasted 13 contestants and danced their way into the Dancing with the Stars finale.

So who’ll walk away this season with the coveted mirror ball trophy? Let’s take a look back at each of the stars’ chances of winning:

Fan Favorite: Kelly’s grace and hard work has paid off. She made dad Ozzy Osbourne (the Prince of Darkness!) emotional with her elegant moves and trudged through a painful foot injury that forced her to go to the E.R. Her techniques could use a little brush-up from time to time but partner Louis van Amstel has helped transform her into this season’s Most Improved ballroom belle.

Crowd Pleaser: He’s had a few hits and misses but for the most part, Donny Osmond always puts on a show. From fancy footwork to flashy quicksteps, Donny gets the audience on its feet and knows when to pull out his bag of tricks without getting docked by the judges for being too gimmicky!

Scoreboard Leader: She’s been a front runner since the beginning of the season, so it’s not surprising to see Mya vying for the top prize. Her fellow competitors have said she has an advantage being a singer/dancer, but her multiple 10s and perfect scores prove she’s gotten the thumbs up from the judges — and fans all across America.

Jon and Kate Gosselin won’t be getting a fresh start until the new year, says Jon’s lawyer Mark Heller.

Although the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 couple may have had their arbitration hearing on Saturday, their divorce won’t be finalized until well after Christmas.

“It’s winding down,” Heller confirms to us exclusively. “We expect an arbitrator’s written position to be provided around Christmas -– around the 25th -– and sometime thereafter in the new year the party will be divorced.”

Heller remains mum on whether Jon wants sole care of his eight kids.

“All of those issues will be finalized by years end,” says the attorney, who states he’s impressed by Jon’s selflessness when it comes to his children. “Jon came to the table without any objectives other than his children’s best interests. People tend to have their own agendas, but he wants what’s best for his children. He put his personal considerations aside, and that’s what brought this to such a peaceful conclusion.”

But how peacefully did the arbitration really end? Kate flat-out turned down her estranged hubby’s offering of roses.

“A number of emotional moments occurred during the process,” Heller admits. “But they got through several days of hearings in one day.”

We know what this means — this bitter couple just wants their marriage to be signed, sealed, delivered and DONE.

Would you ever wear your mom’s wedding dress?

Kim Kardashian did…at least for a few minutes, that is.

The most important part of a wedding is, quite clearly, the dress. And although marriage isn’t officially in the cards, we’re hearing rumblings that things are getting serious between reunited Kim Kardashian and footballer boyfriend Reggie Bush. She has said she’d like to be married with a kid by the age of 30, and 29-year-old Kim decided to try on the dress her mom, Kris Jenner, wore to marry (the now deceased) Robert Kardashian in 1978, on the recent premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

And ooh la la — Kris’ dress actually fit Kim like a glove! Here’s what Kim wrote on her blog today:

“If you guys watched the wedding special, you’ll remember the party where my mom [Kris Jenner] brings out her old wedding gowns. Khloe wasn’t too fond of the one she wore when she married my dad. She called it ugly and my mom started crying because she had waited 30 years to bring this dress out….so I tried it on for her,” Kim wrote.

Adds Kim, “It was a perfect fit! I did look like Little Bo Peep, but it was pretty special. I then tried on my mom’s dress she wore when she married Bruce [Jenner in 1991]. It’s sooo ‘90’s.”

That Kim — would you really be trying on wedding dresses and posting pictures on your blog if there wasn’t a ring in the works? We’re very suspicious!

With family, friends and (boy?)friend Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth by her side, Miley Cyrus kicked off her b-day celebration early at a surprise ’80s-themed party in N.Y.C. last week.

The tween star, whose actual birth date is Nov. 23, took in a performance by the cast of Rock of Ages (including former American Idol and enjoyed a custom-made vanilla cake designed by TLC’s Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro in the Canal Room.

Based on these photos, Miley, we’ll assume you had a blast at the bash, but let’s also look back at the past 12 months — you’ve definitely had your share of ups and downs.

Sure you live the charmed life of a Disney starlet, but there were times this past year when sixteen was anything but sweet for you. As you mark the big one-seven today, we’re taking a look back at the good times — and the bad ones. What a year it’s been!

The Ups:

1. You kicked your sixteenth year off right with an incredible party at Disneyland! And we forgive you for celebrating more than a month early (the party was held on Oct. 5!)
2. You had the No. 1 movie at the box office, Hannah Montana: The Movie, in early April. It took in $34 million in its first weekend alone!
3. You teamed up with designer Max Azria to create a clothing line sold at Wal-mart. Cute outfits at affordable prices? Well done!
4. You got yourself a hot new man! You and Liam have gotten real close since you filmed The Last Song in Georgia this past summer. Seriously, Justin who?
5. Your song “Party in the USA” was one of the biggest anthems of the summer! People all over the world were moving their hips “like yeah” to your chart topper.

The Downs:

1. You were sued in February over a photo of you and your friends making potentially offensive faces. The case was thrown out, but you should really be more careful!
2. You got some unwanted attention in early August from a stalker, 53-year-old Mark McLeod. Fortunately he was caught and thrown behind bars!
3. You stirred up controversy (yet again) when you pole danced at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards on Aug. 9. Even if it was all in good fun, you definitely got a few parents riled up!
4. You ticked off quite a few Twitter users when you decided to ditch the social networking site. You know, it’s never too late to hop back on the bandwagon!
5. Your year took a tragic turn when your tour bus crashed outside of Richmond, Va., on Nov. 4, killing your driver. Thank God you weren’t on board!

TV watchdog group Parents Television Council is hopping mad about Adam’s controversial performance last night at the American Music Awards. In a statement just issued to HollywoodLife.com, the PTC slams ABC for being “tasteless” and “vulgar” for letting Adam do his S&M bondage thing and for another instance of simulated oral sex on Adam. (In case you live on the West Coast, the oral sex part got edited out.)

“American teenagers – and especially teenaged girls – are literally under siege by the entertainment media. It is outrageous that children today cannot watch a televised awards program for an industry that is built squarely on their backs. Teens comprise a huge portion of music sales, yet this is how they are treated? It is beyond contemptible,” said PTC President Tim Winter. Last night’s ‘American Music Awards’ broadcast was nothing short of tasteless and vulgar. Adam Lambert, the second-place finisher in last season’s ‘American Idol’ competition, chose to treat American families to simulated oral sex and other demeaning behavior. ABC and Dick Clark Productions had every reason to know what to expect, as Lambert himself proclaimed that his performance would be ‘very sexy’ and would include leather and chains. But the producers and the network chose to bury their heads in the sand.”

Lambert, for his part, has refused to apologize for his performance.

The PTC continues: “The Parents Television Council is calling on its members in areas where the oral sex scene aired before 10 pm to contact the FCC to complain about last night’s show, which in no way fulfills ABC- affiliated stations’ public interest obligation for free use of the public broadcast airwaves. PTC is also asking its members to contact ABC stations and Dick Clark Productions directly to voice their concerns about the graphic nature of the show.”

Kate we understand you’re disgusted by Jon’s reprehensible behavior but he is the father to your eight little Gosselin’s. We know Jon ditched and headed to Maui for ten days of surfing with his moobies hanging out for all to see – but he hasn’t seen the kids since Nov. 7  — that’s 17 days and counting!

We were told by a close family friend of yours that Jon asked if he could stop by and see the kids Sunday Nov. 17 but you said No?! That seems a little harsh don’t you think?

“I believe it can have a very negative effect to not see their dad for 17 days given there is a climate of confusion and anger to begin with based on the ongoing divorce,” says Jeff Gardere, a child and family psychologist.

It’s harder for the older ones especially because, “They will interpret that conflict between mother and father as spilling over to them and make them feel more guilty. Make them feel they are the cause of the conflict between their mother and father. Number two they may begin to develop anger toward their mother for not allowing their father to see them,” says Jeff.

We agree, the children are probably really confused with all of this bouncing back and forth, “It’s different than a father going on a business trip. They’re probably wondering when Jon will be back and psychologically their problems are being exaserbated,” Jeff confesses.

Kate, we heard you guys sorted out your differences at the Montgomery County Courthouse in Pa, Nov 16^th that’s the day before he asked about visiting the kids. Jon even brought you a dozen roses as an attempt to smooth things over.
