Raven-Symoné‘s career on the small screen may have hit a slight bump — her ABC Family comedy State of Georgia lasted only 12 episodes this past summer — but hopefully she’ll have better luck on Broadway! Raven, 26, will be playing Deloris Van Cartier in Sister Act in March, reports our sister site Deadline.com, a character made famous by Whoopi Goldberg in the original 1992 movie. Kara tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that sometimes she just needs a break from music, but she also offers up advice for Simon and other reality show judges!

Kara DioGuardi judged American Idol alongside Simon Cowell for seasons eight and nine, but when they parted ways, it didn’t mean the end of their relationship. Kara, who’s now the head judge of Bravo’s Platinum Hit, still makes time to support Simon on his new show, The X Factor. She tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that she will be tuning in to watch the season premiere of The X Factor on Sept. 21, but doesn’t plan to watch the show “religiously” given her own hectic career. ‘Spider-Man’ Broadway Musical Injury Being Investigated By Authorities — Shut This Show Down!

The latest tragedy — a performer fell 30 feet — should be last straw for this problem-filled production!

The problems just keep coming for the ‘upcoming’ Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark. After a string of troubled performances, poor buzz and increasing budget woes, a massive injury Dec. 20 should be the nail in the coffin for the show. The New York Post reports stunt double Christopher Tierney was the latest victim of the stunt-filled spectacle, where a fall due to a faulty rope left the aerialist with broken ribs and internal bleeding.
