We’re used to being blown away by Charice‘s epic in-concert covers, but trust me — your heart is not prepared to hear her tribute to the late, great Whitney Houston. During a Feb. 13 concert, Charice performed “I Have Nothing,” coincidentally written by Charice’s producer David Foster, as well as “I Will Always Love,” reducing the entire audience to a puddle of emotions. Charice Pays Tribute To Her Late Father During Emotional Concert
Charice dedicated Joe Cocker’s ‘You Are So Beautiful’ to her estranged father, who was killed Oct. 31 in the Philippines.
Charice delivered her most emotional performance to date Nov. 25 when she paid tribute to her late father at David Foster and Friends’ Mandalay Bay concert in Las Vegas. “Tonight, I want to dedicate a song for him,” Charice told fans at David Foster and Friends’ Mandalay Bay concert, before launching into an unrehearsed rendition of Joe Cocker‘s “You Are So Beautiful.” Click here to read moreCharice’s Estranged Father Killed In The Philippines. This is the saddest Charice news I’ve ever had to, but never hoped to, report. Her estranged father, Ricky Pempengco, was stabbed to death Oct. 31 in San Pedro in the Philippines. Charice took to Twitter to announce she was canceling her performance at the upcoming David Foster And Friends concert. “I have to go back to the Philippines as soon as possible to be with my family,” she tweeted late that night. “I hope you all understand.
