While neutrals came down most of the runways at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Gwen Stefani closed out the week on Sept. 16 with a vibrant collection full of prints — from plaid to African-inspired to Ikat, she mixed and matched on the models, who came out in sky-high shoes, also from LAMB. It may have been the last show of the season, but Lincoln Center was buzzing — even her pal, former Spice Girl Melanie Brown almost had a problem getting her front row seat for the show due to the massive throng of people! I was only a day away from the madness of Fashion Week coming to an end and the rushing around, lack of sleep and a proper meal finally started to catch up with me — that is, until I got to Marchesa. The brand is always shown as a presentation, which gives viewers the opportunity to get up close and personal to the exquisite gowns.
