Patrick Dempsey & Ellen Pompeo Went To Dinner — I Hope They Spoke About Staying On ‘Grey’s Anatomy’!

Yesterday Shonda Rhimes tweeted she hoped Patrick and Ellen would renew their Grey’s Anatomy contracts which expire after this upcoming season, and then the pair went to dinner! Coincidence? I hope not!

When news broke that Patrick Dempsey might not renew his contract for Grey’s Anatomy, I nearly lost it. What would Seattle Grace be without Mer and Der? But there’s still hope that Patrick and Ellen Pompeo could sign up for more seasons, and yesterday Shonda Rhimes tweeted “hope they stay” in reference to the two lead characters, admitting her heart would break if they left. Then, hours later, Patrick and Ellen went to dinner together at Dan Tana’s in LA. Maybe it’s my ridiculous Grey’s obsession clouding my judgment but could they have been discussing contract negotiations? Or made a top secret pact that they would both make the same decision? New Grey’s Anatomy spoilers hint that Meredith and Derek may finally get married for real in this year’s season finale.

Meredith and Derek’s Post-It Note wedding on Grey’s Anatomy in 2009 left many Mer/Der fans torn. Some were pleased that the couple didn’t have a traditional big white wedding. Others, myself included, felt gypped. Usually I am right there with Shonda Rhimes. I didn’t scream in rage about bringing back Denny, I didn’t get upset about Izzie leaving, and I was entertained, not angry, about last week’s musical episode. Lorena On Grey’s Anatomy: The Singing Was Entertaining But Don’t Do It Again!

The musical episode of Grey’s Anatomy, “Song Beneath the Song” had moments of beautiful singing but sometimes I just wanted them to stop so the exciting episode could continue!

I’m feeling very conflicted about “Song Beneath the Song”, the musical episode of Grey’s Anatomy. There were times where I thought “Shonda Rhimes pulled it off!” and other times where I groaned when the cast started singing and thought “Okay, enough now.” But I have to admit, each commercial break felt agonizingly long and I was riveted by the storylines and genuine Grey’s moments sprinkled throughout the hour. Lorena On ‘Grey’s’ & Sara Ramirez: I Don’t Think Callie Will Die Tonight, Do You?

Avid Grey’s Anatomy fans are worried that tonight’s episode could mean Sara Ramirez is leaving the show, but I don’t think Callie’s dying.

You know when someone asks you if you’re sure of something, and you answer “Yes!” confidently and then they say “Are you 100% sure because I think the complete opposite” and it leaves you saying “Yes” again but maybe without the exclamation mark and the confidence? That’s what happened to me today when discussing with fellow editors whether or not Callie would die tonight on Grey’s Anatomy, thus kicking Sara Ramirez off the show. But I’ve regained my confidence and I have multiple reasons why I think Callie won’t die tonight. Read more
