‘The Vampire Diaries’ Recap: Damon & Elena End Up In Bed Together. Nice.

vampire diaries 3x08

But first, we learned more than we could ever hope to know about the Originals — including the potential key to killing Klaus!

I hope you all watched the Nov. 3 episode of The Vampire Diaries with your notebooks handy because it was a dense history lesson, complete with confusing words, revelatory flashbacks, and one very epic scene involving Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Elena (Nina Dobrev) and a bed. I think you know where this is going. ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Recap: Jeremy Kissed A Ghost & He Liked It. Bonnie Did Not.

Lexie! Mason! Grams! Which ghost(s) were you most excited to see back in Mystic Falls this week?

I’m shocked I can even type right now, considering my heart has been smashed into thousands of tiny Anna-shaped pieces, but I’ll do my best. The Oct. 27 episode of The Vampire Diaries was an hour of tricks (Ghosts! Aaah!) but mostly treats for the show’s faithful viewers. Some of our favorite former characters returned — in ghost form — to help the living residents of Mystic Falls through some of their darkest hours. Click here to read more

‘The Vampire Diaries’ Recap: Damon Shows Elena The Way To His Heart. She Loves It.

Also, uh… is Katherine dead now? Just checking.

Track and field! Bonfires! Cheerleading practice! After ignoring Mystic Falls High for what seemed like forever, the Oct. 20 episode of The Vampire Diaries was (literally) exploding with school spirit. But the best class of all was chemistry — and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) racked up some major extra credit. ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Recap: Damon Promises Elena, ‘I Will Never Leave You Again!’ (Swoon.)

But that long-awaited ‘Delena’ scene was just one of the things that made this week’s ‘Vampire Diaries’ the best episode of the season.

When Michael Trevino tweeted that the Oct. 13 episode of The Vampire Diaries was going to be a “game-changer,” he wasn’t exaggerating — least of all for his own character, Tyler, who I’m pretty sure is now a hybrid. Klaus (Joseph Morgan) turned Mystic Falls High upside down this week in an intense hour that found Stefan (Paul Wesley) fighting compulsion, Matt (Zach Roerig) seeing ghosts, and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) opening up about his feelings for Elena (Nina Dobrev) — yet again. ‘Vampire Diaries’ Recap: Elena Flirts With Damon While Stefan Sacrifices Himself! Is That Bad?

Elena came closer than ever to ‘switching Salvatores’ this week! Don’t you think it’s time for her to just give it up?

Aside from the hot-and-heavy pairing of Tyler (Michael Trevino) and Caroline (Candice Accola), every other couple in Mystic Falls was put to the test on the Oct. 6 episode of The Vampire Diaries. Elena (Nina Dobrev) continued flirting with Damon (Ian Somerhalder), while Stefan (Paul Wesley) swapped spit with Rebecca (Claire Holt), and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) had to choose between Anna the Friendly Ghost (Malese Jow) or Bonnie the Teenage Witch (Kat Graham.) Let’s talk about each of their poor life choices, shall we? Click here to read more

‘The Vampire Diaries’ Recap: Stefan Tells Elena To Leave Him Alone — Should She Listen?

While ‘Stelena’ fans watched their favorite couple crumble, ‘Klefan’ shippers watched a new vampire bromance blossom!

The Sept. 29 episode of The Vampire Diaries was yet another roller coaster of many kinds — time periods, hairstyles, and of course, teen vampire emotions. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) finally caught up with Stefan (Paul Wesley) in Chicago, but their reunion was tainted with an epic breakup, the likes of which The CW has never seen.
